Will Sloat

Bio

Will Sloat is a graduate of East Lake High School, where he was a captain of the football team and starred on both the offensive and defensive lines. During his senior year, he earned the opportunity to play in the All-County All-Star Game, where he was named Offensive MVP. He also represented the area in the Florida State All-Star Game as an offensive lineman. Following high school, Coach Sloat continued his football career at Lafayette College, where he earned a scholarship as a left tackle. After several seasons, he transferred to the University of the Cumberlands to finish his collegiate career alongside his brother—an experience that made an already meaningful football journey even more memorable.

Football has always been a driving force in Coach Sloats life. The game taught him the importance of teamwork, perseverance, discipline, and striving to be the hardest-working person in every room. Those lessons continue to shape both his personal and professional life.

For the past four seasons, Coach Sloat has coached youth football, working with both JV and varsity offensive and defensive linemen for the Gators and, most recently, the Predators. Developing young athletes has become one of his greatest passions. He is committed to helping young men grow not only as football players, but also as leaders, teammates, and individuals of strong character. He believes in creating a positive environment where athletes can build confidence, develop life skills, and foster a lifelong love of the game.

Coach Sloat is excited to begin his first season with the high school program and looks forward to helping develop young men into outstanding athletes, responsible members of the community, and future leaders. Go Gators!
