Anthony Hendrix

Bio

Coach Hendrix is a 2015 Land O Lakes High School graduate and is going into his 7th year being part of the coaching staff. He is a Land O Lakes High School faculty member, teaching a variety of courses in mathematics and has also served as the head boys track coach since 2020. Coach Hendrix serves as the assistant head coach and defensive coordinator for the team.

Coach Hendrix was a two-sport athlete at Land O Lakes in his time here, lettering in both football and basketball. In his senior season he was a captain for the Land O Lakes High School football team. He played one season of football beyond high school at Lagrange College before returning home to finish his degree and join the coaching staff back at his alma mater. While on the coaching staff Coach Hendrix graduated from the University of South Florida with his masters degree in exercise science.

In his first year on the staff Coach Hendrix spent his time working with the JV team. In year two he was given the opportunity to move up to the varsity staff to coach the LB’s and RB’s. After that Coach Hendrix spent a few years coaching the LB’s before being promoted to defensive coordinator in 2020. Following the hire of Coach Goodspeed in 2022, Coach Hendrix was named the assistant head coach.
